Sir Martin Sorrell of the WPP advertising company has said that Britain was seeing a
larger shift from traditional forms of advertising, such as print, TV and radio, to
internet advertising than any other country, the Guardian reported.

He claimed that the share of advertising conducted online will be 14 per cent by
November 2006, dwarfing online spend in western European countries such as Spain,
where only two per cent of marketing is done on the web.
